Special Easter handstamp of the Czech Post
19.3.2010
Christmas, Valentine, Easter - these are holidays used by many people for sending a greeting card or letter to their friends or loved ones. We offer the already traditional special handstamps to commemorate these holidays. For the ninth year, you can use the Easter bunny handstamp available at the Kraslice Post Office.
Kraslice handstamps have numerous fans, both locally and abroad. The post office personnel stamp 10 to 15 kilograms of letter mail per day, including some from, e.g. the United States or Australia. The 2010 handstamp, designed by the academic painter Jiří Rychtalík, features a bunny and willow twigs.
How can I get an Easter handstamp?
Write the address of your friend or loved one and stick the appropriate stamp(s) on the card. Put the card into an empty envelope. Stick again the appropriate stamp(s) on the envelope and mail it to the address: Velikonoční pošta, 358 01 Kraslice. The card will be stamped with the handstamp and remailed to the addressee.
Only cards received from March 22nd to April 4th will be stamped with the handstamp.
Commemorative handstamps plus
Every year we design several dozens of commemorative handstamps. The handstamps are special because they are used only for several days. You can find a list of past and future handstamps on our website at Commemorative handstamps.
